My name is Paula, and I’m the owner, roaster, operator, coffee sampler, packager, and everything in between at Pemberton Coffee Roasters.

Born and raised in BC I settled in Pemberton on Lazy Crow Ranch, where our family is now the second generation to call this special place home. In 2004, I started roasting coffee from our home, and I’ve been at it ever since.

By roasting often and in small quantities, I can ensure our coffee is always fresh while maintaining a balance between work and family life. Providing great coffee, “fresh and often”.

Our humble home business is nestled among huge ancient cedars and wildlife. It’s a beautiful place to work, and I’m grateful every day to roast coffee in such an inspiring setting while raising our family here in the Pemberton Valley.
For more than two decades, I’ve chosen to remain small and hands-on. That means every bag of coffee is roasted, sampled, packed, and prepared with love.  It also means I get to know many of the people who enjoy our coffee, which is one of the greatest rewards of this work.

I am continuously honoured that people choose Pemberton Coffee Roasters as part of their daily ritual. I believe coffee creates connections. We may all come from different walks of life, yet each morning we gather in the same quiet way—sharing a moment of comfort, reflection, and community over a great cup of coffee.
